A new round of funded PhD studentships has just been released by UEL. The call is open to anyone to apply to the university with project proposals.

UEL is prioritising projects associated with SMART, healthy, liveable and resilient cities and we would like to promote this amongst TURAS partners and friends. Within the Sustainability Research Institute we are particularly interested in prioritising projects associated with community and environmental sustainability, urban green infrastructure, brownfield ecology, industrial ecology, and wetland/peatland ecology.
