The one day conference and workshop hosted by Dublin City Council and the EU TURAS project has reached maximum capacity weeks beforehand.
The high level of interest in the Collaborating Communities event taking place at Woodquay next Tuesday 6th September is not surprising. Maximum capacity has been reached well in advance with over 100 confirmed guests on the list featuring a truly multi disciplinary line-up including planners, community groups, architects, landscape architects, flood management experts, EPA, academics, artists, housing and climate, innovators.
The subject of engaging communities and local authorities in collaborative planning approaches is always a hot topic. In this workshop the new insights being shared by European experts from Rotterdam, Nottingham, London and Brussels will look at how to engage communities and planners on planning circular economies, building community energy projects, flood management initiatives and green infrastructure.
If that wasn't incentive enough, did we mention the gorgeous gluten free vegetarian food lined up or the alternative green goodie bags which we're hoping to provide (oops was that a surprise?)
See you there!!!
